Sept 5, 2008 – We are now talking with both the McCain and Obama campaigns to determine the best ways to teach the kids on Woogi World the importance of being good citizens.

Kids need to understand the importance of and responsibility connected to the right to vote. Within Woogi World “Every Kid Votes” works with teachers and Studies Weekly Magazine, creating not just a social, but an educational environment that facilitates learning, communicating, and participating – the perfect formula for involving them in causes that matter. We’ve learned that freedom isn’t free. A large responsibility rests on our shoulders to get involved – to participate. Children won’t pick this value up by osmosis – they need to be taught about the price of freedom and have real experience in protecting it. As they have appropriate opportunities to express their views, involvement in the democratic process will become second nature – a habit they’ll carry into adulthood.
