The “Every Kid Votes” program is an effort on the part of several organizations focused on providing children with a safe, educational experience. There are three main partners that are making this ground-breaking program possible. American Literacy Publishing the makers of Studies Weekly magazines, Woogi World the virtual online social world and eGuardian.
Studies Weekly provides a State approved curriculum for grades Kindergarten through 6th grade. Teachers order the Studies Weekly curriculum for their students in a variety of specific subjects. The curriculum related to the “Every Kid Votes” program is the Democracy Studies.
Every American citizen has the right to vote. At WoogiWorld we want every American kid to feel like their voice will be heard as well.

Democracy Studies Weekly comes in 28 weekly units that look and feel like real newspapers. Each student’s weekly newspaper contains a standards-based social studies lesson, a current event that relates to the lesson being presented, and lots of fun and exciting articles, including biographical spotlights, insights into the history and character of democracy, puzzles and games, a comic strip, and much more! Democracy Studies Weekly is an ideal tool to help students practice skills in non-fiction reading and comprehension in preparation for state testing. Democracy Studies Weekly is also an ideal social studies teaching tool for homeschoolers! Over 55 thousand teachers have already committed to the Studies Weekly program starting in Sept. 2008.
