I’ve found a free family-oriented website that’s doing something so important, I just have to pass it on: As a way to teach civic responsibility and the democratic process, www.woogiworld.com is running a real-time national kids’ presidential election in October called Every Kid Votes. Elementary children nationwide will go to this character-building site to cast their ballot for either Obama or McCain, and the results of this vote will be aired in the national media.

This is our chance as parents to get our kids involved and enthused about our right to vote—with enough experiences such as “Every Kid Votes”, kids will grow up not just understanding America’s freedoms, they’ll be ready and willing to protect them!

So let’s get at least 100,000 kids to www.woogiworld.com/ekv/eguardian (and you sign-up and be counted along with your children), by Oct. 5, 2008. By joining this movement, we’re showing politicians that America’s “grass roots” are alive and well and matter just as much as war in the Middle East.
