WoogiWorld.com is a safe interactive website environment that encourages children to learn, set and achieve goals, and appropriately interact with each other in a positive and fun online environment. Through the unique filtered chat features children are not allowed to ask for or give out any personal information including their age, address and phone number. The ultimate security force however, is the parent's control of their child's chat through the Parent Admin tool. Inside the Parent Admin tool the parent can review their child's chat history, turn on or off the chat capability, and limit when and the amount of time a child can be online.

Online safety is our top priority. The first thing that a new student must do to gain access to the higher-level features inside Woogi World is to pass the Internet Basic Training course. In this course they will learn through online and off-line games and activities to:

1. Keep balanced - Students learn the concepts of appropriately balancing the time they spend online and offline
2. Keep private - Students learn the difference between what personal information is okay to share with others online and what is not. They will learn what personal information is and most importantly to keep it private.
3. Crash and tell - Students learn what to do when inappropriate content appears on their screen: Simply "crash" or turn off the computer and then tell an adult what they saw.

Kids will be taught the right tools that will empower them to make correct choices. It will teach them a guard and a defense against harmful content on and offline. Parents will have peace of mind knowing that their kids are in a safe environment learning correct principles.

All members of Woogi World have access to the Internet Basic Training.

Interaction with others on the Internet can be a fun activity that promotes fluency in keyboarding skills, communication, and interpersonal relationships but can be extremely dangerous if not managed correctly. The Chat Safety Training course teaches children what kind of language is appropriate online and what is not. It also teaches what to do if a child is confronted with a cyber-bully or Internet predator.

Kids will learn how to use chat appropriately and will recognize what is appropriate conversation and what is not. They will have more confidence in what they are writing and their computer skills as they use the safe chat program. Their communication skills will increase.

Parents will enjoy knowing that their child is chatting in an ultra safe environment while learning good communication skills. They will also enjoy the parental controls for chat that the Parent Admin affords. The whole community benefits when we have safer children, more involved and empowered parents and safe, wholesome communication that is going on at the community level.

Woogi World takes children's love to watch movies and turns it into an education opportunity. Here the child is able to go online and watch good and wholesome media that educates and uplifts. One of the buildings in the virtual community is a theater that has a variety of educational and fun videos to watch. "McGruff the Crime Dog" and "Faux Paws" along with short video clips promoting personal values are among the content that is available to watch, be entertained, and to learn from. By watching the videos the child will earn Watts (points) that they can use for purchasing items in the Woogi World shopping areas.

If the community wishes to get involved they too can sponsor a specific video that will allow them to present to the children their specific message.

A core principle within Woogi World is the need for children to be involved in the community. Whether they are helping a neighbor or serving on a youth service council every child needs the opportunity to make a difference in their community. Children are less likely to be involved if they don't understand the principles behind service. Woogi World offers many programs and activities that teach these principles and values of service and encourage them to proactively seek out ways in which they can provide service.

One of the service programs that the children will be involved with is "Random Acts of Kindness". This program teaches that even small acts of kindness have a large impact on others - and ultimately their own lives.

All members of Woogi World have access to the Community Service Training and Activities.

There are twenty levels on Woogi World starting with the "New Comer" and ending at "Universal Agent".

Throughout the child's experience in Woogi World the child will be involved in activities that award points for completion. Each level that is completed will bring new accolades to the child. It will also open up new items and games all over Woogi World. It will be seen as a status symbol so kids will work hard to do what is required to get to these levels.

The levels are presented in a very fun way that gets kids excited about achieving them. When the required points are earned the child will be promoted up to the next level and will be exposed to all of the great teaching materials that are on it.

To level-up they need to earn the set amount of points in three areas:

1. WXP (Woogi Experience Points)
2. Service Points
3. Family Points

Parents will notice a significant difference in their children as their child strives to complete the assignments to level-up.

When a parent gives permission for a child to have a Woogi World account they are given the opportunity to activate/deactivate the chat feature in the child's account.

Our chat feature has been designed to help kids with fluency in keyboarding skills, communication, interpersonal relationships, spelling, and even learning English with the predictive text feature. Kids that use our safe chat feature will have more confidence in their writing and computer skills. As a result, their overall communication skills will increase.

Kids online can also report other kids who are abusing the system. If their report is valid the offending child will be banned from Woogi World. These bans can last a day or can be indefinite depending on the offense.

Parents will enjoy knowing that their child is chatting in an ultra safe environment while learning good communication skills. They will also enjoy the parental controls for chat that the Parent Admin affords.

The Parent Panel is accessed from the main page under the parent link. This page is a parents dream for Internet resources to teach and protect their child. On it there is a link to the Woogi Honors program, the Woogonian newsletter, the parent admin and a portal to play online with your child. There is also a specially designed feature called the Internet parent; training videos designed especially for today's parents. This is a must feature for every parent who is concerned about where their children are and what they are doing and being exposed to on the Internet.

With the parent panel and family center parents will be more involved in their child's online lives and will be better able to teach and guide them on how to use the Internet for good. Kids will enjoy spending more time with their families.

Saving money is an important skill that even many adults haven't mastered. In Woogi World children will get first-hand exposure to the benefits of saving what they've earned. The Woogi Vault allows each child to have their own bank account to save their Watts. Their account accrues interest and allows them to make deposits to savings and withdrawals when they want to purchase something from one of the many stores in the virtual community. The Woogi Vault is a virtual experience with real-world benefits in establishing good financial habits that will last a lifetime.

All members of Woogi World have access to creating a savings account in the Woogi Vault and participating in the financial education activities.

Children love to create and show off to others what they made. Whether it is a drawing a picture or singing a song, children are anxious to demonstrate their talents that are growing every day.

The Woogi World Art Studio allows a child to paint and draw on blank pages or pre-designed templates all without making a mess needing to be cleaned up. With a simple interface, even the very young Woogi can participate in these activities. Once the picture is complete the child can hang it on the wall in the family center for others to see online or print it out for a "hard copy".

We've developed a unique recognition feature in Woogi World Honors because positive recognition is vital to a child's self esteem. Upon completion of specified levels this program offers a personalized letter of recognition from the students' Senator and/or Governor congratulating them on their efforts. This signed correspondence from the highest levels of our government will be something that the student will be proud to show off to friends and family and will be a treasured keepsake for the rest of his or her life.

The Woogi World Honors Program provides letters from govt. officials based on the completion of specified levels of advancement.

Learning, disguised as fun, is the hallmark of all Woogi World games.

Woogi World games teach many skills necessary for children to succeed in the twenty-first century. Many of the skills that Woogi World focuses on are compliant with the No Child Left Behind standards.

The basic Woogi can participate in 3 different multi-player games.

The Woogi World Honors Program unlocks 5+ multi-player games for your child to enjoy.

The Boogi Woogi feature offers the student the option to communicate with others with hand gestures and dance moves that help reinforce and teach non-verbal communication skills.

The basic Woogi will have access to a small limited number of dance moves and gestures.

The Woogi World Honors Program allows for over 15+ dance moves and gestures to use.

The chat feature uses a dictionary containing only screened, safe words that filters the conversations eliminating the possibility of a child asking for or giving out inappropriate information, being propositioned in the site, or engaging in cyber-bullying. Kids are not able to type addresses or ask revealing questions like: what's your name or where do you live.

The basic chat dictionary allows 350 words to be used to communicate with other Woogies.

The Woogi World Honors Program unlocks a 10,000+ word dictionary allowing your child to express themselves freely within a safe and controlled environment.

These are cards like baseball cards or fantasy cards. Kids collect them and want to trade them. Right now there are two series of cards that have been developed: the sports cards and the value cards (aka the everyday hero cards). The sports cards educate kids on 40 different sports that are in the world. The value cards help reinforce in kids 40 different values that we are trying to teach them. These values range from honesty to patriotism and work to forgiveness. We are showing kids that you can be an everyday hero by incorporating values into their lives. Each card has a story on the back that illustrates these points in a fun way.

Kids will love them and they will learn about values and other subjects through them. The trading cards will supplement their learning on Woogi World

Parents will like it because kids will be engaged in collecting worthwhile things.

Kids learn how to be better citizens by following the examples of those on the cards.

Children can join clubs with other children based around specific interests. Woogi World Clubs offer a unique blend of entertainment and education. The club environment provides entertaining games and activities that generate interest in the subject as well as allow them to practice academic and social skills necessary to do well in school.
